In the 1900 MI Huron, Grant Twp census there is a James W Brackenbury, 41, with a new wife, Margaret, 35, who have been married for only 1 year. James marriage is 20 which was lined through and 1 substituted. The children Claudie 18 S; Lillie M 11 S; Vera D 9; & Hazel L 5. If this is the right James W Brackenbury, then the children would have been Cora May Myers'.

In 1910 James W & Margaret had Hazel L, 15 & 4 more J Aldelius (son) 8; Eva M 6; Eda B 3 & John 1. In the 1910 MI census Margaret is listed as having 4 children with 4 living so all those older Brackenbury children would have been by the 1st wife aka Cora May ( A Maxwell conclusion)

In the One World Tree are Eva Margaret, b Sep 1865, wife of James Brackenbury 16 Jul 1858-6 May 1935, with Claudie Mar 1881; Hattie 19 Jan 1883; Clarence S 6 Mar 1885; Cora E 26 Feb 1886; Lillie May 1888; Vera Apr 1890 & Hazel Dec 1894. That makes 7 children for Cora May, doesn't it?.
